Mark Kaarremaa
The Committee would like to
thank Mark Kaarremaa for
his photographic composite
of MV Scaup.
Mark was born in Finland
and came to Canada in 1952
and graduated from Vancouver
School of Art in Photography
and Graphic Design He worked
in Advertizing photography
for several years and as a
photojournalist for 20 years
and has been published in National
Geographic Adventure Magazine,
Wooden Boat, Beautiful British
Columbia Magazine,Pacific Yachting,
Sea Magazine, New York Times,
Vancouver Sun, Seven Seas Calander,and
Thad Koza Tall Ships Books,
among others. Mark has always
loved boating and the Westcoast.
